Public Health Researcher, Doula, Creative Healer,Nutrition Educator, & Rootworker

Before Root & Ritual, there was a birth room. For six years, I worked as a doula — holding space for people through one of the most sacred and vulnerable passages of their lives. In that work, I learned the most important thing I know: self-care is not what you do after you fall apart — it is what keeps you whole. I watched what happened when people were permitted to slow down, to trust themselves, to be held without judgment. The body is not broken. It is wise, communicative, and deeply capable of healing when it is truly met. That truth became the root of everything I create.

Root & Ritual grew from that knowing. When I stepped out of birth work, I didn't leave the practice of tending — I expanded it. Today, my work lives at the intersection of herbalism, spirituality, and ritual, asking nothing of you except presence. The teas, body care, smoke blends, and art I make are tools for returning home to yourself. The Reiki and tarot sessions I offer are containers for the deeper work. And the thread running through all of it is the same one that ran through every birth I attended: healing the womb — the seat of creation, grief, and power — heals the whole body. And that healing belongs to everyone, regardless of who you are or where you are starting from.
